How to install and configure Webmin
Installing Webmin
sudo apt-get install -y perl libnet-ssleay-perl openssl libauthen-pam-perl libpam-runtime libio-pty-perl apt-show-versions libapt-pkg-perl
libmd5-perl does not come with Ubuntu anymore, so we need to download it manually.\\
It’s worth giving it a go just in case…
sudo apt-get install -y libmd5-perl
cd /tmp
wget http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/libm/libmd5-perl/libmd5-perl_2.03-1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i libmd5-perl_2.03-1_all.deb
Now download webmin from sourceforge
wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/webadmin/files/webmin/1.520/webmin_1.520_all.deb/download
dpkg -i webmin_1.520_all.deb
Start Webmin
sudo /etc/init.d/webmin start
View Webmin
Go to https://localhost:10000 using your root password
